Be Weird
Be the person who fuels their body with real food, moves daily, and prioritizes deep, restorative sleep.
People question bacon and eggs for breakfast, yet think nothing of starting the day with Fruit Loops or Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The real irony? We've been conditioned to accept ultra-processed, sugar-laden foods as "normal," while whole, nourishing foods seem radical.
A proper human diet is built on protein and healthy fats—not flashy marketing and processed junk. Don’t let the food industry dictate your health.
The most powerful thing you can do? Keep your insulin in check. It’s the key to energy, longevity, and true metabolic health.
🍽 FOOD: Low Carb Chicken Bacon Ranch Bake
This creamy, cheesy, and satisfying dish is packed with protein and healthy fats, perfect for a keto or low-carb lifestyle.
Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs), cut into bite-sized pieces
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup cream cheese, softened
½ cup sour cream
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup heavy cream
2 tbsp ranch seasoning (homemade or Just 5 brand store-bought)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or chives (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Cook the Chicken:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken pieces with a little salt and pepper until golden and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and set aside.
Prepare the Creamy Ranch Mixture:
In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, heavy cream, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until smooth.
Assemble the Bake:
Spread the cooked chicken evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Pour the creamy ranch mixture over the chicken, stirring slightly to coat.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
Add the crumbled bacon on top.
Bake:
Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives before serving.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve with roasted or steamed low-carb veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, or zucchini.
Enjoy over a bed of shredded lettuce for a keto-friendly "ranch chicken salad."
Storage & Meal Prep:
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Reheat in the oven or air fryer at 350°F for 10-15 minute .

Faith: Lenten Reflection: A Season of Renewal
Lent is a time of reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal. It’s a season that invites us to strip away distractions, quiet the noise, and focus on what truly nourishes our souls. Just as fasting strengthens the body’s discipline, it also strengthens our spirit—teaching us that we are not slaves to our cravings, but rather, we are called to something greater.
In a world filled with excess—of food, of consumption, of busyness—Lent reminds us to return to simplicity. To seek what is true, what is good, and what is lasting. It’s not about perfection but about intention. Whether through fasting, prayer, or acts of kindness, we are called to realign our hearts with what matters most.
As we journey through this season, let’s reflect on what we are consuming—not just physically, but mentally and spiritually. Are we feeding our souls with truth, love, and grace? Are we taking care of our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit?
May this be a time of deep renewal—where we let go of what no longer serves us and step fully into the life God is calling us to live.
"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." – Matthew 4:4
