Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food
Fresh, Local, and Full of Love ❤️

This weekend, I wandered through our local farmers market. There was live music in the background, the scent of fresh herbs in the air, and familiar faces behind every booth. There’s something deeply grounding about knowing the hands that grew your food.
Take a quick walk through the market with me. It’s proof that healthy eating starts with community.
Recipe: Greek-Style Lamb Kabobs with Yogurt Mint Sauce
Simple, vibrant, and perfectly aligned with your sugar-free, high-protein lifestyle.

2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp sea salt
½ tsp black pepper
Juice of 1 lemon
Skewers (wooden or metal)
Yogurt Mint Sauce:
1 cup Greek yogurt
2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
Directions:
Mix olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl. Add lamb and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
Thread lamb onto skewers.
Grill over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until browned.
Serve with the mint yogurt sauce and roasted vegetables or grilled zucchini ribbons.

A Note of Faith

There’s a special peace in slowing down, choosing local, and cooking what’s in season.
Food isn’t just fuel. It’s connection, creation, and community.
Let’s keep it local, clean, and full of love. 💚
