Even outside the professional kitchen, I still do my "baker's workout" during those precious dough-rising minutes! Whether it’s belly dancing with the Shake Your Sugar & Shimmy Your Soul Challenge, a quick pilates session, or just a walk around the block, I’m all about keeping active while waiting for that perfect rise.
🍞 The Magic of Sourdough
Sourdough is more than bread—it’s a science and an art. Its wild yeasts and bacteria don’t just make it delicious; they make it better for you—think improved mineral absorption, gentler blood sugar spikes, and that unmistakable complex flavor.
🥩 Recipe of the Week: Garlic Herb Butter Steak Bites
Looking for a meal that’s satisfying and supports your fitness goals? This recipe is perfect:

Ingredients:
1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced (or shallots if you prefer)
1 tsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried)
1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add 1 tbsp of butter and sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
Lower the heat to medium, add the remaining butter, garlic, thyme, and parsley. Stir until fragrant.
Toss the steak bites back into the skillet and coat with the herb butter.
Serve warm and enjoy!
