Why Fat is Essential for Women in Menopause + Exciting Challenge!
Nothing changes unless you make a change
Hey there, friend!
This week has been a slow one for me since I’ve been under the weather, but I’m still here showing up for you with some valuable insights. Let’s dive into this week’s focus on Food, Fitness, Fat Loss, and Faith!
🥑 Food: Why Menopausal Women NEED Fat
If you’ve been avoiding fat, it’s time to rethink that! Healthy fats are essential for women in menopause because they:
✅ Support hormone production
✅ Keep skin hydrated and youthful
✅ Help with brain function and mood stability
✅ Aid in nutrient absorption (especially for vitamins A, D, E, and K)
Some of my favorite sources of healthy fat include:
🥩 Grass-fed butter & ghee
🥑 Avocados & avocado oil
🥥 Coconut oil & MCT oil
🥚 Pasture-raised eggs
🫒 Olives & olive oil
Don’t be afraid of fat—your body needs it, especially during this stage of life!
Sourdough Made Simple Class Skool. is going great! Many students are sharing their focaccia, crackers and loaves. It’s a pay-what-you-want class (minimum $2), and here’s the best part: for every purchase, a donation will be made to support a local home for pregnant college moms. A win-win, indeed! 🌟
