Make It from Scratch: A Healthier, Happier You 🍽️💪

I’m so excited to share what’s coming up in our journey toward better health and a balanced life in 2025. This week, we’re diving into fresh ways to focus on Food, Fitness, Fat Loss, and Faith—pillars that keep us thriving.
Food: Make It from Scratch
Starting this Monday, join me on YouTube and our Lean and Clean Facebook page for a brand-new series: Make it from Scratch!
We’ll begin with homemade breads and cheeses—and I’d love to hear what else you want to learn! Making food from scratch not only empowers you to control ingredients but also deepens your connection to what nourishes you.
Let’s rediscover the joy of homemade goodness together!
If you are tired of the same old breakfast try this homemade corned beef hash. Mine is does not have potatoes as I like to keep it low carb but add some in if you like them. ½ for dinner and ½ for breakfast 🙌 I Turned ONE Meal into TWO with This Corned Beef Hack!

Fat Loss: Small Steps, Big Wins
Your best progress comes from consistency. This week, focus on:
Homemade meals: Perfect timing to pair with our “Make it from Scratch” series!
Protein goals: 30g per meal is the sweet spot.
Daily movement: A brisk walk or an extra set of squats goes a long way.
Every step counts—keep moving forward!
I know from personal experience these 👇🏽 work! Since September I reduced my carbs and cut out sugar completely. I am not down 24 lbs. My goal was not weight loss but lower inflammation to help my legs . If you seek lasting change Do It!
Here is my TOP 7 to start with in 2025
Drink Water
Aim for about a gallon a day.
Add electrolytes or Celtic salt to retain minerals.
Drinking water before meals can help you feel full faster.
Cut Out Sugar
Eliminate all forms of sugar, including table sugar, pasta, white bread, and other refined carbohydrates.
Focus on single-ingredient, whole foods.
Stick to Single-Ingredient Foods
Prioritize natural, unprocessed foods with no added ingredients.
Dedication is key, even if you don’t see immediate results on the scale.
Keep Carbs Low
Limit carbohydrate intake to encourage your body to burn fat for energy.
Focus on Healthy Fats and Protein
Include 30–50 grams of protein per meal from sources like eggs, meats, and cheeses.
Incorporate healthy fats to keep you satiated and support fat-burning metabolism.
Take Time for Yourself
Schedule "you time" for activities that renew your spirit, such as walking, dancing, or relaxing.
Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup—self-care is essential.
Challenge Your Muscles
Engage in strength training using weights, resistance bands, Pilates, or bodyweight exercises.
Strong muscles and bones are crucial for long-term health and preventing osteoporosis.
This list provides a straightforward guide to staying on track into the New Year 😊
Faith: Trust the Process. Remember with God all things are possible!
Homemade food, movement, and consistency are like seeds of faith—they grow with time and care. Take a moment to pause this week, reflect on your journey, and trust that your hard work is paying off.
